The YMCA Loudoun County’s Building Bridges Campaign is a program which provides scholarships and much-needed funds to area families so that their children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of valuable enrichment programs. Your support enables us to provide services to all, regardless of their ability to pay. As of October 2007, the YMCA Loudoun County has awarded over $81,000 in scholarships. The YMCA Loudoun County offers several different programs throughout the year. Summer Day camps and After School programs are spread out over Loudoun County. We also offer a Pre-School program called Wee R 2’s & 3’s, a play group experience at the YMCA Program Center.

$10 Provides One Day of Pre-School fun: a gift of $10.00 will allow YMCA Loudoun County to send a child to the Wee R 2’s and 3’s program for 1 ½ hours of fun, playtime, and interaction with others. The child will have fun while learning to play and share with others. Creative art, story time, songs and active fun are part of this unique play group experience.

$25 Provides a Quality After School Experience: a gift of $25 will allow YMCA Loudoun County to provide valuable after school child care to a child who would otherwise be home alone. Many families can’t afford quality childcare leaving children home by themselves. We offer after school programs throughout the county. Our trained staff and structured programs make this a unique and fun experience. Offered for PM Kindergarten – 5^th grade.

$50 Provides Summer Fun at Camp: a gift of $50 enables YMCA Loudoun County to send a child to camp for 1 day. We offer camps throughout Loudoun County. Your gift could change the summer experience for a child in need. All our camps are themed and offer a variety of different activities for ages 3-15!

Any Amount: All agencies have overhead costs including rent, utilities, audit expenses, fundraising costs, etc. These are frequently the most difficult funds to raise. Your gift in any amount for general operating support will help keep our organization strong and allow us to serve even more Loudoun County residents.
