Alternative Gift Fair

Note, Please Turn off your POP UP BLOCKER, when shopping on this site, it inteferes with the credit care payment process and you cannot access your shopping cart!

So what is an Alternative Gift Fair?
You ponder what to give your friends and co-workers, grandparents and parents, clients and at the gift exchange at the office? Perhaps a tie, a pencil sharpener, potpourri, or some other token of your thoughtfulness…instead, how about giving a noble gesture of human kindness? What about giving food for the hungry, medicine for the uninsured, or summer camp for disadvantaged children?

Here’s how!

  • Make your gift list (who you need to shop for).

  • Think of ways in which each of these people inspire you. Or if you know that they have a cause close to their heart, make a donation to a nonprofit at the Alternative Gift Fair that supports their cause.

  • Browse the local charity catalog describing the work of local nonprofit charities, or view each charity listed below.

  • Choose charities and purchase gifts that honor your recipient and sing to your own soul. Click here for some gift suggestions.

  • Give your recipient a beautiful card describing the gift.

Presto! You’ve succeeded in thinking outside the box this year and buying meaningful gifts for the giver, the receiver and ultimately the intended recipient. That defines the spirit of giving!

Donation Gift Cards and Inserts

Choose one of three greeting card styles for your donation gift: "Downtown", Peace, or "Town Halll" (see images below). In addition to the greeting card, each gift you purchase will include a "Gift Description Insert" based on the specific charity addressed. Donation cards and their inserts will be sent to you, for you to sign and address to the recipient yourself so that you can include your own personal greeting..
