Children at Saint Gabriel's

Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. (Mark 9:37)

 

Saint Gabriel's is a church where children are nurtured in God's love by the whole community of faith, through Christian                             education and worship, daycare, and other exciting programs. We offer our children a place to grow in relationship with God, with each other, with their parents, and with other caring adults who will teach them and mentor them.

 
Children are invited to participate in our weekly worship. During the first part of the service, children ages 4 years old through 6th grade enjoy Faith Zone, our new, fun, Sunday School program. Kid's rotate between Story, Craft, Snack and Activity "zones" where the learning is fun! Children then rejoin their parents at the Exchange of Peace during the service. For newborn babies through 3 year old children, a nursery is available all morning, staffed by caring, certified, adults.

 

                                            

Family and Intergenerational events, such as the annual Advent Wreath Making, help children connect with their families and the values and traditions that are important to their spiritual growth. Children belong at Saint Gabriel’s because children are precious to God.
