ST. GABRIEL’S THIS SUNDAY
CHILDREN AND YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL —Children begin the service with their teachers on the front row of the auditorium. After the homily they will proceed out to class and return at the Peace to take communion with their adult guardian.
Healing Rail, TODAY, SUNDAY JANUARY 29th- Our healing and prayer team with be offering healing prayer during the time of communion. Feel free to come to the rail before or after you receive communion. You may request special prayers for yourself or others, or simply come, trusting that God knows your heart.
ADULT FORUM TODAY AFTER SERVICE- Please join us today after the service as Rev. John Ohmer will discuss the Past, Present and Future of St. Gabriel's.
ST. GABRIEL’S ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE NEXT INTERFAITH FOOD COLLECTION WILL BE NEXT SUNDAY, FEB. 5th We will collect non-perishable food items and household goods for our local food pantry, Interfaith Relief. Please bring your items to church and place in the basket at the entrance.
PARISH MEETING, NEXT SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5th- Please join us next Sunday after our Morning Prayer service, where you will get an in-person update and discussion about what's happening at St. Gabriel's.
MARK YOUR CALENDERS - SHRINE MONT RETREAT, MAY 11-13 -St. Gabriel's Shrine Mont weekend will be May 11-13. Further details will be available next weekend on the church table. We hope you can join us it's always a wonderful way to rest, relax, and recreate in fellowship with your church family.
SUPER BOWL PARTY AT THE BUTLERS' SUNDAY, FEB 5th-Once again, the Butlers are hosting a Super Bowl party on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 5pm-ish (game starts at 6pm). All are invited. A great big Super-Sub from the St. James Youth Group will be provided. Please feel free to bring along any other tasty goodies that you think the group would like. Like last year, they'll have a total of at least 223 diagonal inches of TV to watch, so there's no reason to miss any of it, (especially the commercials.) COMPUTER & STEREO AUCTION -Looking for a new computer? St. Gabriel's is holding a silent auction for a Macintosh Laptop. The laptop is a 2011 Macbook Air, 13 inch monitor, Mac Lion OS, mouse, case, and a transferable warranty until 2013. Microsoft Office not included. The stereo is RCA CD Micro System with Dock for iPhone/iPod - Black. The laptop and stereo auction bid sheets will be on display February 5th and 12th after Sunday service. Bidding will end Feb. 12. PASTORAL CARE- If you need care or assistance we can help one another. Some of the needs we work to provide include hospital visitations, home communion, and delivered meals. Also, if you are in need of a priest we can help with that. Please contact Barbara Bundy for all pastoral care needs. you can reach her at 571-332-8713 or bjbundy@verizon.net. CHILDCARE SAFETY DURING THE CHURCH SERVICE- After Sunday School, all children 2nd grade and older will need to please return to the service with their families (either biological or church family!). The nursery, during the church service, will only be for 1st grade and younger. Also, children should not at any time be unattended in the hallways. We are asking that an adult please be with a child at all times. Children may not roam Belmont Ridge Middle School or any other St. Gabriel’s event unattended. WINTER WEATHER POLICY- As winter comes, this is a good time to review our severe weather policy. We cancel Sunday services if the custodian cannot plow the parking lot, or drive to the school. By 8:00 am, please check the website, we will also attempt to send out an email to all on our list.

Simply go to www.saintgabriels.net, click Resources, and click Member Information to get to the log-on screen. If you have an email in our database, you can log in and do searches.
ADD A PHOTO TO THE DIRECTORY- Let's try to update our current online directory with family and individual photos. Simply go the membership database through our website, which is password secure, find your own family in “directories”, click “edit” and add a family photo from your own electronic files.
