Jerien Okoh-Tisch

Choral Leader

Jerien Okoh-Tisch is the Choral Leader for St. Gabriel’s English language worship; working with Peter Schweitzer, the English language music minister.  Jerien is trained as a classical and contemporary vocalist with a degree in music from Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute and certificate from Shenandoah Contemporary Vocal institute. Having grown up with her mother as a music minister, she has sung in and directed choirs since her youth. She has a passion for directing youth and adult choirs.  Jerien, her two children, and husband are excited to be members of St. Gabriel’s loving Episcopal community.
