David "Dj" Gunning is a Baltimore native who recently moved to the Leesburg area.

Dj manages the day-to-day operations of St. Gabriel's~San Gabriel and serves as assistant to the Clergy and Staff, and Clerk of the Vestry.  Dj has a heart for bringing people together in unity, equality, and service, and making the church a more welcoming place for all in today's world.

Dj is also the Interim Director of Music and Organist at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Reston, and the Parish Administrator at Grace Episcopal Church in Brunswick, MD. In 2016, Dj transitioned from a 15-year career in Broadcasting and Journalism, having worked at radio stations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and locally at 92.5 WINC FM.

Dj is an avid connoisseur of music of all types, wine, food, and locally produced microbrews and spirits. He also enjoys taking his 13-year-old chihuahua/better half, Chloe on adventures to local state parks and beaches, and spending time with friends, family, and his husband Adán.
