Lots of little tasks

This week, our project management team met on-site with roofers, electricians, fire door technicians, a well (water) contractor, and landscapers — real conversations, real estimates, and real progress toward bringing the campus back to life after two years of sitting empty.

A huge thank-you to everyone who answered our midweek call for help: six volunteers spent the day clearing out an area of the campus that will need significant work in the weeks ahead. Many hands truly do make light work, and we're grateful for every one of you.

Meanwhile, back in Leesburg, DJ has been at work behind the scenes — ordering the equipment and cabling that will bring internet access to the entire Aldie campus, along with phones for the offices.

This week was full of small, unglamorous tasks, but essential ones as we get closer to calling this place home!
